Allentown School District moves forward with budget, completes reorganization

By an 8-1 vote the Allentown School Board approved a proposed final budget for the 2012-2013 school year that would raise taxes by 4.8 percent on homeowners throughout the city. Board member Joanne Jackson cast the lone dissenting vote.
